Terry McMillan is set to tell more stories on the silver screen. The acclaimed author and Lifetime have announced a partnership to bring new, original films to the network with McMillan at the helm. Variety reported the new movies will focus on the love and lives of African American women, and serve as part of Lifetime’s 40th anniversary. “As women, we can be messy. We can be complicated. We can be so many things,” detailed McMillan in a statement.
