Columbus Short has issued a statement on social media after being arrested for felony domestic violence. According to TMZ, the actor was taken into custody by law enforcement on Feb. 2 after an argument between Short and his wife allegedly turned physical. When police officers arrived at the scene, the Scandal actor claimed to have been punched by his wife, however, according to the report, she was the only one presenting injury.
Columbus Short is no stranger to scandal. While he has kept mum about the controversy surrounding his life and career these past three months, he’s finally opening up about his recent headlining behavior. During an interview with Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush, Short said, “I lost a lot of things due to these ugly stories, whether they are true or not. The allegations put an ugly, nasty taste in people’s mouth and that’s the unfair part that I’ve had to weather.

DaBaby has announced his decision to give up drinking alcohol following an embarrassing moment in front of his daughter while inebriated. The North Carolina emcee made the declaration on Sunday (Dec. 3), taking to Instagram to explain the events that led to him to choosing to put the bottles down for good. “I don’t drink no more,” the “Shake Sumn” creator said, noting that he was “on bedrest” at the time of the making of the clip and had since sobered up after a night of downing shots.
