Avicii Cancels Ultra Music Festival Appearance Due To Surgery

Swedish EDM star DJ Avicii cancelled his headlining performance at the 2014 Ultra Music Festival yesterday (Mar. 28) to undergo the removal of his gall bladder. This followed Avicii‘s first show cancellation of a show at SLS South Beach in Miami on Thursday (Mar. 27) after an unexpected trip to the hospital. After losing two lawyers in a matter of weeks, Bill Cosby has brought in a well-known attorney to defend him against sexual assault charges. Thomas Mesereau, who famously represented Michael Jackson when he was acquitted on child molestation charges in 2005, has joined the comedian’s legal team. In 2014, Bill Cosby was accused of sexual assault by nearly 60 women. People like former models Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson have come forward to testify their claims. One woman’s case, Andrea Constand, has gone to trial. Cosby now faces three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, ABC News states. The reported incident stems back to 2004 when Constand said her encounter with Cosby occurred. A trial date has been set for June 6.
