T.I. divulged his thoughts on the murder of Nipsey Hussle to TMZ on Monday (Apr. 1). The 33-year-old rapper was killed in front of his clothing store in Los Angeles after multiple bullets hit his torso and head.

“Just, I think I’m disheartened, disappointed, and disgusted that the very people that we all work so hard to try to liberate and uplift are the ones that, ultimately, in the end, hope to see our demise,” the Trouble Man said during his appearance on TMZ Live. “I think, right now, I’m just focusing on some kind of clarity and understanding and eventually, man, I know as the days continue to progress I’ll find it.”

T.I. also suggested that since Nipsey was able to “operate on a [higher] vibration” than those who are “subject to the confinement” of some urban communities (due to life experience, traveling and more), it could result in either support or hate.

“I think people just hate, not that you’re doing something, but the fact that they’re doing nothing, and you doing something reminds them too much that they’re doing nothing,” he continued.

T.I. continued his thoughts in a post commemorating the Victory Lap MC. “Sad part is… muuuf**kaz so far gone in they own misery that they can’t even see wtf they doing to US as a whole!!! Easiest way to create a monster… make him Hate the sight of himself, He’ll then be incapable of loving anyone else.”

Eric Holder has been named a suspect in the case, which is currently an ongoing investigation.
