Sauce Walka defended himself from a random assailant with a knife by showing him the power of the household broom. On Monday (June 24), a video went viral of the rapper in Los Angeles getting into an altercation with an unknown person who appeared to be ready to strike with a knife in tow.
The Houston native is then seen on camera approaching the man with a broom, resulting in the assailant turning away and fleeing. Sauce’s personality was fully displayed in the clip, which could have turned deadly as he bragged to the camera about scaring off the figure.
“You seen this sh*t? He got scared of this ninja work,” he said. “He pulled out a knife, I pulled out this mothaf**ka right here.” But the clip isn’t finished there. The random man and Walka continued their interaction, resorting to shouting and yelling profanities at each other.
According to AllHipHop, Sauce Walka provided some backstory to the situation in the caption of his now-deleted Instagram post of the video. The “Ghetto Gospel” rapper even dished on what led him to picking up a broomstick, saying, “So this Krazy man running around LA screaming & throwing objects at random people turned to us and I smacked him with a broomstick…Bro pulls out a baby knife and TAKES OFF RUNNING…I can’t make this up.”
Fans were impressed with the artist’s display of bravery and ability to use a broomstick like a Bo staff. “Bro everyday I’m starting to love @Sauce_Walka102, bro is the truth & down to earth,” one fan typed on X/Twitter. “I ain’t never seen Sauce Walka take a L in a altercation he really is the rap boogeyman,” another account quipped. “Bro I didn’t expect a literal broomstick tell me why I thought they meant a real street sweeper,” a fan joked.
