NBA YoungBoy Defends His Parenting Following Comments On Fatherhood

NBA YoungBoy has lashed out at critics of his parenting after seemingly shunning fatherhood, despite having 11 children.
The rapper, who recently admitted he’s “not big” on his role as a father in a clip of a recent interview, took to social media to defend himself after receiving backlash due to his statements. In a subsequent video, YoungBoy claims that he’s a constant presence in many of his children’s lives and that they’re often with him in the comfort of his home.
“My motherf**king house stay full of children, man,” the 24-year-old, who is currently on house arrest, says while filming himself speaking on the phone. He also adds that he’s “out of the stage” of posting his children on social media, which is a common practice among celebrities. “You want me to show you every time I’m with them? It don’t matter if a house full of h*es in this bi**h, I got children running around.”
During a sit-down with Bootleg Kev, the Don’t Try This at Home rapper was asked how “important” fatherhood is to him, with him responding in a seemingly aloof fashion. “I’m not really big on it, to be honest,” he said at the time. The irony of the statement was due to the fact that one of his sons was sitting on his lap at the time the conversation was taking place.
“I’m only in here ’cause you’re here,” he told Kev, adding that his admission is merely him being honest regarding the matter. “I’m not the type to sugarcoat nothing,” he said. “But I’m four walls all day… everyday.”
