Whenever Lady Gaga does anything, it’s an event. At the MTV Video Music Awards last night (Sept. 12), Gaga snatched up the biggest trophy of the night for Video of the Year thanks to her maneater visuals for “Bad Romance.” During her emo acceptance speech, the popstress also let loose the title of her next album—Born This Way.

“I promised that if I won this, I would announce the name of my new album. It’s called Born This Way,” said Gaga, who then belted some lyrics from what we assume is the title track off the album.

Not much is known about the album, but Akon spilled some beans to VIBE back in April: “All I’m doing at the end of the day is listening to the tracks Gaga has written and approving them for her album. She has producers that she works with outside of myself and they are coming up with some incredible records. But the beauty of it is she knows exactly what she wants. So it just makes it easier for me.”

Kanye West Debuts New Single ‘Runaway’ With Pusha T

Recap: Taylor Swift did a song about Kanye, and Kanye West did a song about doucebags and assholes.

He definitely put on a show in what was many people’s highlight of the night. To cap the show, the Taylor Swift apologee hit the stage decked in all red and armed with an MPC to debut his Pusha T-assisted “Runaway,” off his upcoming album that we think is titled Dark Twisted Fantasy. Are you feeling the song?

And in case you’re wondering, Pusha is officially part of the G.O.O.D Music gang. He told MTV News, “I’m definitely signed with G.O.O.D. Music. I’m definitely doing my solo project through G.O.O.D. Music. The Clipse is definitely coming with a new Clipse project. We’re definitely coming with the Re-Up Game project. The family is still here, man. It’s just all about G.O.O.D. Music, straight up.”

Did Kanye redeem himself or did he even have to?

In other news, Justin Bieber took home Best New Artist (Sorry Team Barbie), and Eminem won Best Male Video for “Not Afraid.”
