Halle Berry‘s half sister Renee is blabbing about her estranged relationship with the actress. She tells Daily Mail that Halle has basically cut of her black family members since the divorce between her father Jerome and mother Judith.
“I’m sad to say it seems like she does not want anything to do with us. I have not spoken to her in about five years. I tried to contact her through her website, to congratulate her on her Oscar, but no one got back to me. We would love to meet Nahla. We are desperate to understand why Halle is so upset, why she feels she cannot be with us.”
Berry has spoken out against her late father and says he was a tyrannical alocholic who abused them, while Renee wholeheartedly denies those claims.
“My father never beat any of us. He would spank us from time to time, but he never abused us. He liked a drink or two, like anyone else does, but he was not an alcoholic.”
As of late, Halle’s life has been tossed around in the media, especially during this custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Hopefully some solace can be found on all sides of this frenzy.
