Kali Uchis and Don Toliver have officially announced they are having a baby. On Thursday (Jan. 11), the pair unveiled the exciting news via Instagram, where they shared a video montage to commemorate their new chapter together.
The clip gives viewers a peek into the last few months, which has consisted of quality time together and routine visits to the doctor’s office. It also included footage of both Kali and Don from their childhoods.
“Starting our family. Don’t take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can’t wait to share our life with you,” the caption read.
After rumors were swirling for a few months prior, the couple first confirmed their relationship back in 2021. Toliver dished to W Magazine, “We’re not crazy public or nothing like that. We just vibe.”
Since then, the two have put their love on public display in several ways. From PDA on red carpets to collaborating on music, the pair has been going strong for over two years. Toliver traveled with Uchis to her motherland, Colombia, to shoot music videos for “What You Need” and “Drugs N Hella Melodies,” both of which can be found on his 2021 sophomore album, Life of a DON.
More recently, the crooners dropped off the Beenie Man-sampling love song “4 Me.” The track was a lead single from the “Bus Stop” artist’s most recent project, Love Sick. To return the love, Uchis brought out her beau during her 2023 Coachella set to perform “Fantasy,” a fan-favorite from her Red Moon In Venus LP.
