Common To Release Wellness And Health Book, 'And Then We Rise'

Common is set to release a new wellness and health book, And Then We Rise. Com spoke about the book with People and detailed that the pandemic inspired him to write the material. The Chicago emcee expressed that the book was his way of channeling and then giving away positive energy.
“During the pandemic I was really focusing on just putting out good energy because the world was experiencing so much, and health was in the forefront of a lot of people’s thoughts and in their hearts,” he told the outlet. “Through the best of times, the worst of times, deal with the things that happen outside our bodies and inside our bodies.
“I felt that this was my way of giving back to people… I can actually get some people to really help themselves if they just read some of this or even practice some of it. It could change lives. I know it changed mine,”
And Then We Rise will document the rapper’s health journey. Additionally, the wellness literature will teach others how to become more health-conscious through physical, mental, and spiritual awareness. Common Sense elaborated on the importance of mental health in one’s journey and how therapy transformed his wellness. The “Go” emcee expressed that the book would detail how “mindfulness” helped positively inform his physical health.
The activist also spread the word about his book on his Instagram on Thursday (Oct. 18). He revealed that the book would be released in January 2024 and explained in detail where the idea came from.
“Exciting news, fam! I’ve got a new book coming in January 2024 called And Then We Rise… I started sharing my journey on Instagram – working out and sharing healthy food recipes – and folks started asking for advice. So, I decided to put it all in a book to spread some good energy and love, especially in my communities,” the beloved entertainer typed. “Remember, small changes can make a big difference. You don’t have to go from zero to a hundred. Find what works for you, fam, and you’ll be a better you.”
